While flying may be statistically safer than driving your car, aircraft do not always arrive at their destinations safely. Aircraft accidents can be caused by a variety of factors, which include: pilot error, poor weather, faulty equipment, FAA regulation violations, structural or design problems, negligence of flight service station employee, negligence of federal air traffic controllers and/or dangerous or defective aircraft design or manufacture.
Aircraft accidents can cause victims to sustain physical injuries, pain and suffering, emotional injuries and can cause victims to incur significant medical bills and lost wages. Even accidents that seem relatively small in nature can produce injuries with severe consequences.
